What we collect and why

Groupaa collects the contact details and information you choose to submit, including supplier capabilities and quotations household preferences and general location, or recommendations of local businesses. Recommendations are reviewed privately; we don’t publish them or automatically contact businesses on your behalf. We use it to review enquiries, evaluate the proposed pilot, respond to you and, if you join the pilot list, contact you about that pilot. If you use or share an invite link, we may associate a referral code with a registration to measure how people hear about the pilot. Invite links do not contain your name or email. There are no referral rewards, and we do not ask you to upload other people’s contact details. We do not collect payment information or require your home address on this site.

How it is used and stored

Submissions are stored in a hosted database and are available to the Groupaa site owner through a protected dashboard. Our hosting and authentication providers process information to operate the site; processing may occur outside Canada. We do not sell personal information or use submissions for unrelated marketing. Necessary technical information, including a short-lived one-way hash of an IP address, is used to limit spam. No advertising trackers are intentionally added.

Retention and your choices

We intend to review and remove inactive enquiry and interest records within 18 months of the last meaningful contact, unless an ongoing relationship or legal obligation requires retention. This review is performed by the operator. You can withdraw your pilot interest or request access, correction or deletion through the contact form. Include your reference if available; we may need to verify your identity. Deleting a record from the active database does not immediately erase provider backups subject to their retention schedules.

Contact and responsibility

The Groupaa site owner is responsible for responding to privacy requests. Send a privacy enquiry. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial or health information. This site is at the pilot investigation stage.
